Windows Networking and Security
Title: Windows Networking and Security Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory domain administration
Presenter(s): Kevin Weaver
Abstract: 2-day workshop (Tuesday Afternoon (1/2 day) Wednesday (1 day), and Thursday Morning (1/2 day)).

This workshop will cover designing, installing and maintaining small and medium networks based on a Windows 2003/2008 domain. It will demystify Active Directory, the Windows administrator’s key to administering and securing his or her network. It will cover basic SQL Server 2005/2008 and Exchange Server 2003/2007 administration and security. It will cover the basics of using Group Policy and other tools to administer and secure Windows XP/7 Pro and Office XP/2003/2007. Finally, it will address connecting Mac or Linux workstations to a Windows Domain and its resources.
