Updates about ICCM 2010
ICCM 2010 Conference Tracks Basic - Getting a good foundation is important for all ministry professionals. These sessions are designed to introduce you to technology of which you may have very little knowledge or experience. These sessions will help you get started in the right direction. Technology - The Tech Track sessions will help you expand your expertise and implementation of a variety of technology. You will benefit from the field experience of these session leaders. Many of these sessions are hands on labs. Leadership - ICCM has been blessed with many very Godly and very qualified leaders. The Leadership Sessions give you the opportunity to learn from and interact with these great leaders. Social Networking - Each year ICCM determines a topic of interest and devotes a session track to that topic. Sandbox Lab - ...An open lab where attendees can "get their hands dirty". Computers will be available for you to install or just experience Linux desktops, Linux servers, Windows XP, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista and applications. Get hands-on time installing Linux, Windows, or applications for those platforms. We will also have computers here for you to access the Internet, Email, ICCMnas and CD Burning. ICCM 2010 Greeting from the ICCM Chairs Hey ICCMers! Summertime Christmas is coming quick. My favorite weekend of the year - ICCM. Sorry, I get a little giddy thinking about it - like a kid at Christmas. Well, we enjoyed our 20th anniversary last year and now it's time to move forward. I'm pleased to announce that this year we'll have our first Canadian keynote speaker. Neil Ostrander, CEO of International Teams Canada, will be speaking on "Empowering Vision with Technology". Our topical track this year is "Social Networking". This year we have just one workshop following ICCM. Windows Networking and Security will be presented as a two-day workshop by Kevin Weaver. There are still a number of openings for sessions during ICCM, and we are looking for volunteers to fill them. If you have a suggested topic (and even better, the name of someone we should invite to teach that topic), let us know. But we do have a lot of sessions filled, (even though it's not reflected on the online schedule yet) with a very good assortment of topics. As usual, it looks like it will be a very exciting ICCM. http://www.iccm.org/pmwiki.php?n=Y2010.ConferenceRegistration While we realize these are financially trying times, we also realize that costs do go up. So we've offered a compromise this year. Introducing early bird pricing. If you register by March 31, you will get last year's pricing. If you register after March 31, there will be a modest increase to $275.00. Once again, we have a hard deadline for registration, June 4th. If you have not registered by June 4th YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER. You are still most welcome to attend the sessions, but transportation, housing and food will not be available. There are hotels and restaurants in the area. Looking forward to seeing you at ICCM this year, Roy Campbell & Dann Farquhar Co-Chairs for ICCM 2010 ICCM 2010 Greeting from the host Welcome to the ICCM 2010!! June will be here quickly and I am excited about this year's conference. I always look forward to all of you returning to the Taylor campus. We have listened to your requests from last year and made breakfast and the morning events begin later so late nighters can make it on time. ;) I have a wonderful team here at Taylor that help host this event. You would be amazed at the energy and passion shown by my team as we prep for this each year. We get energized with the passion for Christ that we see exemplified during ICCM. Taylor University continues to be honored and blessed to be the host of ICCM. T.R. Knight, Program Host |
